These virtual group discussions will focus on emerging best practices, lessons learned, and ongoing challenges in the shared micromobility and bicycling space.
In partnership with the National Associational of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), the Better Bike Share Partnership is proud to present the “Shared Micromobility & Cities for Cycling 2021 Roundtable Summer Series.” Completely virtual, the program will launch with a city discussion on June 30th and will run through August 26 as an ongoing conversation with city staff and shared micromobility operators and partners.
While topics are still in the works, they are being determined based on feedback from attendees and will be related to bikeway planning and design, as well as managing and regulating shared micromobility. “Sessions” will be held weekly, with additional organized “Social Hours” happening on a biweekly basis. All sessions and social hours are open to practitioners working for NACTO member cities and agencies, and select sessions will be open to BBSP partner organizations.
In order to register for the series and receive calendar invites, complete this form (invites will be automatically tailored according to your work affiliation). The first session is scheduled for June 30th at 2:30 pm EST and will outline how participants can make the most of the series, help determine discussion topics, and contribute to the third edition of the NACTO Urban Bikeway Design Guide. This first session is only open to staff at NACTO member cities and will also be an opportunity to share exciting bicycling-related updates from your city.
