To create a platform for collective action and accountability, SUMC convened the Shared Mobility 2030 Action Agenda which calls on the industry to establish a roadmap to making shared mobility more viable than driving a car. This call comes at an opportune time with the historic passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act. Both offer opportunities to replace car-centric transportation with people-focused shared mobility that fights climate change, promotes equity, and strengthens community.
As we enter 2023, this call to action has been all the more pressing. Climate change plagues communities, traffic deaths remain horrifically high, and public spaces prioritize personal vehicles. We must build upon and hold ourselves accountable to advance shared mobility. Thus, this year’s conference theme is “All Together Now: Action + Accountability for People-Focused Mobility.”
Join SUMC this year for an opportunity for old and new friends in the shared mobility world to gather and evaluate where we stand on achieving our collective goals. With speeches, workshops, panels, networking, and field trips, attendees can learn about best practices in shared mobility that they can implement in their communities.
