Here’s the scoop from BBSP featuring our top picks for sessions throughout the event.
From October 15 to 17, the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association (NABSA) will host its annual conference, Momentum: The Power of Shared Micromobility, in Montreal, Quebec! The conference gathers transportation practitioners, operators, and equipment and service providers to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other. Attendees will hear from keynote speakers, including Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante and Charles T. Brown, founder and CEO of Equitable Cities and author of Arrested Mobility: Overcoming the Threat to Black Movement, as well as breakout sessions on topics such as integrated mobility, electric shared micromobility batteries, and parking management.
The event begins on Wednesday with a conference tradition, the Lightning Round Slideshow, where attendees get to learn more about NABSA members and the great work they’re doing in their communities. The slideshow will be followed by mobile workshops that allow participants to explore Montreal by bike or on foot. It concludes on Friday with lively and engaging BIXI warehouse tours, where attendees can see BIXI’s winter bike, cargo trailer, and maintenance and rebalancing vehicles.
Below are our top picks for sessions you won’t want to miss that zero in on BBSP’s equity focus. Be sure to check out Ride for All: Lessons in Inclusive Shared Micromobility from Living Lab Cities to hear from our current Living Lab grantees, Los Angeles, Tucson, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
