The JPB Foundation has awarded the Better Bike Share Partnership a one-year grant to continue its work under the leadership of the City of Philadelphia. The funding will be used to plan the next phase of the partnership and to begin implementation. The continuation work will include new initiatives designed to test and share best practices for equity and shared mobility. Additionally, the funding will help support the professional development of leaders in this field, with a focus on women and people of color.
The Better Bike Share Partnership is funded by The JPB Foundation as a collaborative between the City of Philadelphia, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) and the PeopleForBikes Foundation to build equitable and replicable bike share systems.
