Title: Local Programs Writer and Content Manager ✍️

Location: PeopleForBikes Headquarters – Boulder, CO; remote position considered

PeopleForBikes (PFB) seeks a full-time content manager to create and manage content related to all Local Programs, including PlacesForBikes, the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) and Youth Cycling.

This includes writing stories and managing social media and website updates for BBSP, writing about city efforts to build support for and implement connected mobility networks, guiding script development for a video series, and producing reports, one-pagers and other written material for Local Programs audiences, partners and funders.

Some Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage all content on Local Programs websites; minimum of eight blogs created and posted per month
  • Develop an editorial plan annually
  • Manage relationships with other blog contributors
  • Work closely with PFB staff to adhere to budget guidelines and deliver on editorial objectives
  • Monitor and analyze readership across multiple channels and strives to increase it
  • Manage BBSP social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, which includes health insurance, generous paid time off, paid parental leave, a flexible work schedule that includes work from home options plus more.
